only thing i would want outta this song would
be a more introductory beginning
:14 sounds like a wrong note that u mightve put
in by accident? or was the dissonance intentional?
the strings in the bg would be better more
legato, and have the chords melt into each other

Legato you say eh, Ironically I found a soundfont with the legato strings that would have made this song a good deal better, unfortunatly, the songs up, and I have no intention of bringing it back from the grave I buried it in (ie, Newgrounds)

the dissonance was intentional in this case, to emulate the emotion of struggle, and uncoordinated feelings.

nice

the use of dissonance between the piano and the soft strings are nice, the ambience fills the speakers well but, the melody is a bit too repatitive, moving away from the melody into a another theme would be nice :)
but ur samples (or refills?) are very nice...

Thank you for your review! They're hard to come by. I agree, it is repetitive. I was doing work with various loops and went a little crazy but something about the way it was working out kept pushing me to add more and more to it. I'm glad you enjoyed the piece and again, thanks for the review! I'll make my next piece less repetitive but my forte' isn't exactly classical if you check my history of submissions. Everything seems favorable so maybe I'll make another.

This is beautiful

You sir, have a wonderful, creative mind :)
You handle the piano part very well
the (timpani?) is playing notes a bit too low
i think, because it sounds wet.

Sorry i didnt review this wen it was first
uploaded, prolly cuz of the 0 voters who knocked
it down the list. Well, you're higher than
my song now... happy? ;P jk
personally i dont appreciate my song much.

The wetness of the low timpani note actually
fit well as the final note.

This song most definetly stirs up the human
emotions of hope, sorrow, anguish, its just
brilliant. tho u couldve moved a bit away from
the repetitive quarter note strings.
Maybe, like, you couldve had the same melody, but
with different rhythms. I love also how u have
the low contrabasses supporting the weightless
piano sound.

Another thing i like about this is how its
actually lengthy (altho the quality had to suffer
a bit :P)
im tired of 1-2 minute songs lol

i can't imagine how amazing the stuff u would
produce would be if u actually had theoretical
knowledge of music. I hope you intend to take
a few theory classes...

As for this piece scoring higher... well... yours is higher now... where it should be. Since we both know you are on a MUCH higher caliber than me. What with all that theory and works of perfection. Unfortunitley... I never plan to take theory in my life. This is solely for one basic reason.

I love knowing that the music is forever mine. Not passed onto me from teacher to student... it is mine to master. I may not create perfect and wonderful elaborate pieces like you, but I will always have that special feeling that I did it on my own.

Your right... the timpani was too low. My bad... I was in a rush with the timpani... kinda regret it now.

I just wish I had a program... where I can take my USB enabled keyboard... plug it into my computron... and use proffesional sounding instruments, instead of my limited strings collection on my keyboard. Bah!... wish I knew what program to get.

Anyways... thankyou winterwind for taking the time to review :). I voted zero on a stolen piece once?... am I a bad person?

this is great!

i love the trumpet theme! its so triumphant!
im actually considering to buy reason becuse
the songs u make with it are great
the fast string part sounds slightly wierd at first but when the song intesifies a bit more
and when there are more instruments to cover the
strings slightly, it sounds good.
the percussion really makes me see a chase taking
place (that rhymed)
The last hit thing/sample was kinda wierd.
If u edited the wave of that a bit, maybe
it would fit better. just cut down the attack of
it and it would sound nice.
Low brass is great as well.
the swells really intesify the song as well
and if i hear correctly, is that a choir in the background?
what software/VST plugin is that?
Great job man, i love how u contrast between the really fast strings/percussion against the
long swelling brass/choir. Its great.

Keep it up, and not to be mean/biased or anything
but i personally enjoy ur classical piece
over ur trance songs. Not that i dislike trance,
i actually like trance a lot. In fact i gave it a
try lol. Wut i would REALLY be interested in
hearing would be a solo piano piece or atleast
a song with a piano in it.

LOL, yeah! It's a cool username. I was thinking on PETROSALPINGOSTAFILINO (a part of the esfenoides bone) but its too long. So Fuoco came out just well.

Very fine indeed

this is beautiful piece
but, i wish i could hear that flute
more man! i love the flute!
the parts i did hear of her, i wish
were more vibrato-ed. u know, to give
it more of a gentle feel to it
the string samples are fantastic as well
nice quality, kicks are kinda wierd
but they would definetly sound good w/
any other kind of kick lol
not to sound mean, but she also sounded a bit,
out of tune when she went into the hi register.
she may have been out of tune the whole time
since its hard to determine pitch at low ranges.

wow!

thats impressive
has a very VG feel to it indeed
the snare drum keeps the power feel
to it and the brass is cool
not sure wut the guy before me was talking
about, the instruments arent overpowering
at all lol. therefore, clarity=10
why did u mix it down at 80 kbps tho?
its only a minute and a half
some parts sounded a bit dissonant
for example the soft french horn that comes
in half of 00:06. when it goes
A, Bb, B (ascending of course). i hope
u know wut i mean lol
that guitar sounding thing was nice too
fantastic job, i hope ur getting paid for this

Nah, I ain't getting paid for my music, yet. I hope someday I will be able to get a piece of my music published, but that will take time. :D
