New Youtube Recordings

Posted by Winterwind-NS - December 14th, 2008

One of my favorite early works. Also a family favorite. (not to mention Fuoco's favorite). Go to my youtube page to see it in freakin awesome HD resolution.

Etude in D - something I made to help prepare me for Chopin's ocean etude no. 12 op. 25

Two videos of original pieces, one old, the other new.

This was recorded totally on a whim with no sheet music on me, minutes after I took my geology final early in the morning so there are plenty of mistakes.
I'll rerecord these later in the week.
enjoy!

oh and sheet music to these are available of course for sale.

You sir, are quite talented, and commend you for throwing away huge chunks of time to something you love!

huge chunks of time indeed.
thanks

your good at piano

thank you, person

1st one's cool, man! loved it!

it's always fun to see your fingers fly

Yeah! First one is quite up there in my favorites
thanks mr. jaynoo

Wow, you're very good indeed. Better than I ever am on the piano. Asian too! :D

I may be asian, but not very asian
what

You, sir, are an excellent composer. In fact, I collected a soundtrack from the Audio Portal for a game in the works, and your tracks (along with MaestroRage) cover a large portion of the soundtrack. Some amazing compositions you have made.

These piano pieces are excellent completely flawless. I love them.

Wow I feel honored. Thanks pal

OMFG!

I never thought this day would come. I thought you had left that song buried in the past, and yet you recorded yourself playing it. It was amazing.

Thanks man. Seriously.
I'll punch you someday for being so awesome ;)

LOL
I laughed hard reading this
I'll never let dust collect on this piece, NEVER
thanks fuoco, always

ahaha, man, the yesterday i had the first song in my head, and it kept looping from 1:10-1:30, and i (sadly) couldn't remember where i had heard it (!!! what's wrong with me)

then i happened upon here again and i was like "oh YEAH!"

and that is the end of my you-related story
i wonder what the moral was

Hahhaha yeah that's the only part my father can hum by memory. That segment is quite catchy I suppose. I hope that doesn't bother you during your ap testing hahh
The moral?
do NOT promise people that you will draw them for free. simple.

The first song is indeed very cool. Early pieces often tend to be simple and are often better than some complicated stuff.
I like that :), keeping it simple to a certain degree.
The melody is very beautiful and you played it with very good dynamics and feeling.

Keep it up!

Dud

Very true, about early pieces for most cases.
Thanks

I give you much respect i've seem to lost contact on my favorite audio artists so i trying to make up for that and Your work is still amazing to this day i been listening to ur music scince 2006 so keep it coming man

wow man, thanks for sticking around

wow, your song makes me cry, its a bully.

its such a nice song(i dont really cry though)

Hi Winter,

Very nice composition with your piano. Sucks that classical music performance is no where near as popular as rock music where I live. (Note I said "performance" not classical music). Not sure if that's the same scenario where you live, but kinda sad how great skill is going un-noticed. The best classical musicians today in my opinion are the ppl with a mental disability that have this incredible ability to compose and memorize thousands of songs. However, not taking anything away from you...your a exceptional player too.

Oh, your in geology....Geology is a boring and tough subject for me. Used to take it, but transfered to a much better program. Partly had to do with my school's geology program being ages better than the american schools geology (What Americans learn in 4th year, we already learn in 2nd year) meaning I get to learn more stuff I don't enjoy. Only good part is you get a nice workout running up the mountains looking for rock formations. :)

Oh, and aren't you hot wearing a winter hat inside where playing?
Keep with what your doing. Maybe it will appear someday in a korean movie....classical music is popular in them dramas.

Bye for now
